Flashback (or so to speak): The 2008 Streaker

During this year's game 12 and the final game (parts I, II, and III), there were several fans who decided to run on to the field during the game.  But none of them hold a candle to the streaker who graced Rosenblatt during game 10 of the 2008 College World Series.  Here are a series of photos of the 2008 streaker's exploits:

Game 10: Calhoun's grand slam ties the game

ASU's Kole Calhoun hits a grand slam to right field to tie up the game 4-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning.







End of the 5th inning: ASU 4, North Carolina 4.

Game 3: Kole Calhoun hits a three-run homer in the tenth inning

ASU's Kole Calhoun hits a three-run home run in the top of the tenth inning off of North Carolina's Brian Moran, putting ASU up 5-1. This home run proved to be the game winner, when ASU won 5-2 in ten innings. This was Kole Calhoun's first of three home runs (so far) in the 2009 College World Series.

Game 3: Ruettiger gets picked off

North Carolina's Dustin Ackley puts out ASU's Johnny Ruettiger on a pick off play to end the top of the fourth inning.

Game 14: Fresno State ends the game with a double play

North Carolina's Garrett Gore hits into a game-ending 5-4-3 double play: Tommy Mendonca to Erik Wetzel to Alan Ahmady. Fresno State first baseman Alan Ahmady celebrates advancing to the College World Series finals against Georgia.

Game 10: Tim Federowicz Hits a Game Winning Grand Slam

Tim Federowicz hits a game winning grand slam in the top of the ninth inning, putting North Carolina up 7-3 over LSU.

Game 8: Gavin Hedstrom is picked off to end the third inning

Fresno State's Gavin Hedstrom is picked off for the final out in the bottom of the third inning.

Game 6: Rice Turns a Double Play

Williams grounds into a 5-4-3 double play for the first two outs of the bottom of the 7th inning.
